【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthedeterminationofthetransverserupturestrengthofsinteredmetalmaterials,excludinghardmetals.Themethodisparticularlysuitableforcomparingthesin-teredstrengthofabatchofmetalpowderwiththatofareferencepowderorwithareferencestrength.Themethodisapplicabletosinteredmetalmaterials,excludinghardmetals,whethertheyhavebeensub-jectedtoheattreatmentaftersinteringornot,andalsotomaterialsthathavebeensizedorcoinedaftersintering.Itisspeciallysuitableformaterialshavingauniformhardnessthroughouttheirsectionandnegligibleduc-tility,i.e.aductilitycorrespondingtoapermanentdeformationoflessthanabout0,5mmmeasuredbetweenthetwosupportsduringthetransverserup-turestrengthdetermination.Ifthetestisappliedtomaterialsunderconditionsotherthanthosespecifiedabove,theconditionsshallbereported.NOTE1Thepermanentdeformationcanbemeasuredwithsufficientprecisionfromthetwofragmentsofthebrokenorcrackedbarbyindexingthelowersurface.Alter-natively,thedeflectionofastraightlinedrawnhorizontallyonthesideofthetestpiececanbemeasuredusinganopticalinstrumentsuchasameasuringmicroscopeoropticalcomparator.
