【摘要】:Theamountandcompositionofby-productsproducedbyexposureofinsulatingvarnishestoelevatedtemperaturescanpossibly:Deteriorateotherinsulationsinthesystem,Causecrackingofinsulationduetopressure,buildupinthickcrosssections,orCorrodeotherpartsintheassembly.Amountandrateofweightlosswillpossiblyaffectthethermalratingofavarnish.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthepercentweightlossofcuredsolventlesselectricalvarnisheswhenexposedtoelevatedtemperaturesforprescribedperiodsoftime.1.2Resultsofthistestmethodarebasedon6-mm(x00BC;-in.)thickspecimensandwillnotbeapplicabletospecimensappreciablythinnerorthickerthan6mm.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThisstandardresemblesIEC60216x2013;2x201C;Guideforthedeterminationofthermalendurancepropertiesofelectricalinsulatingmaterials.Part2:Choiceoftestcriteriax201D;inanumberofways,butisnotconsistentlysimilarthroughout.Thedataobtainedusingeitherstandardwillpossiblybetechnicallyequivalent.
