【摘要】:Theanalysisofmanytypesofwaterformetalsusingflameatomicabsorptionspectrophotometry,inductivelycoupledplasmaemissionspectrophotometry,directcurrentplasmaemissionspectrophotometry,orgraphitefurnaceatomicabsorptionspectrophotometrynecessitatestheuseofadigestionpracticeinordertoensuretheproperstatisticalrecoveryofthemetalsfromthesamplematrix.Theuseofclosedvesselmicrowavetechniqueswillspeedthecompleterecoveryofmetalsfromthewatermatricesandeliminatesamplecontaminationfromexternalsources.1.1Thispracticecoversthegeneralconsiderationsforquantitativesampledigestionfortotalmetalsinwaterusingclosedvesselmicrowaveheatingtechnique.Thispracticeisapplicabletosurface,saline,domestic,andindustrialwastewater.1.2Becauseofthedifferencesamongvariousmakesandmodelsofsatisfactoryinstruments,nodetailedoperatinginstructionscanbeprovided.Instead,theanalystshouldfollowtheinstructionsprovidedbythemanufactureroftheparticularinstrument.1.3ThispracticecanbeusedwiththefollowingASTMstandards,providingtheuserdeterminesprecisionandbiasbasedonthisdigestionpractice:TestMethodsD857,TestMethodsD858,TestMethodsD1068,SpecificationD1192,TestMethodsD1687,TestMethodsD1688,TestMethodsD1691,TestMethodsD1886,PracticesD3370,TestMethodsD3557,TestMethodsD3559,PracticeD3919,TestMethodsD4190,PracticeD4453,andPracticeD4691.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection9.
