【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstheuseofautomatedvaporpressureinstrumentstodeterminethetotalvaporpressureexertedinvacuumbyair-containing,volatile,liquidpetroleumproducts.Thistestmethodissuitablefortestingsampleswithboilingpointsabove0`C(32`F)thatexertavaporpressurebetween7and130kPa(1.0and18.6psi)at37.8`C(100?F)atavapor-to-liquidratioof4:1.Measurementsaremadeonliquidsamplesizesintherangefrom1to10mL.Noaccountismadefordissolvedwaterinthesample.Note1-Samplescanalsobetestedatothervapor-to-liquidratios,temperatures,andpressures,buttheprecisionandbiasstatementsneednotapply.Note2-Theinterlaboratorystudiesconductedin1988,1991,and2003todeterminetheprecisionstatementsinTestMethodD5191didnotincludeanycrudeoilinthesamplesets.TestMethodD6377,aswellasIP481,havebeenshowntobesuitableforvaporpressuremeasurementsofcrudeoils.Somegasoline-oxygenateblendsmayshowahazewhencooledto0to1?C.Ifahazeisobservedin8.5,itshallbeindicatedinthereportingofresults.Theprecisionandbiasstatementsforhazysampleshavenotbeendetermined(seeNote14).Thistestmethodissuitableforcalculationofthedryvaporpressureequivalent(DVPE)ofgasolineandgasoline-oxygenateblendsbymeansofacorrelationequation(seeEqn.1in14.2).ThecalculatedDVPEverycloselyapproximatesthedryvaporpressurethatwouldbeobtainedonthesamematerialwhentestedbyTestMethodD4953.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsareregardedasstandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificsafetywarningstatements,see7.2through7.8.
